Forgiveness is difficult. It's a miracle when it really, truly, actually happens. Why is it so hard for us to lay down our grudges and our wounds? Why is it easier to gloss over filthy rags than it is to extract the poison from our spiritual arteries. I don't know. I really don't know why. I'm as guilty as the rest of us. Anger makes me ill. Literally. Is it the reason I find it difficult to trust even the closest of friends? Lord, have mercy on your feeble servants so prone to falling.

Heal my friends who face irreconcilable differences. Let them know that nothing is irreconcilable in Your Kingdom.
