Gen 13: the meekness of abraham

Jesus said, "Blessed are the Meek for they shall inherit the earth."

My favorite definition of meekness is (and i forgot where i heard it first...) the quiet confident assurance that God will do Hos work, in His own way and in His own time. Indeed it is harnessed strength.

Abraham was a meek man and read the promise God made!

Lord, I ask you to give me wisdom to look past the fertile fields that lead to destruction.
