    FAQs of tullos.org

smallermatt.jpg Who the heck are you?

I'm Matt Tullos. Thus the name: Tullos.org. I am a work in progress. I'm a 42 year old writer, dad, dramatist, sermon supplier, theologically conservative, biblically based liberal, creationist, blogger, writer, friend, husband and minister.

Wait a second, you used the L word- Liberal. Aren't you afraid you'll lose your job because you are liberal?

No. not really. I'll explain later.

How often should I come back for updates?

If you like what I offer then I would check back often. I update my blog every day with the exception of days when I'm not online. You'll see scripts that haven't been published as well as articles. I usually blog anything useful. I also take notes on books that I am reading as well as interesting things i discover in music, the web, and in conversation with other people.

Can I use the stuff on this site?

Please do! Just keep in mind that the items probably haven't been touched by Lindsey, my copy editor at LifeWay. The only thing I ask is that you don't claim that you wrote the material. By the way, if you use place something from my blog, archive, poetry archive, or script archive, I'd appreciate a credit line and a link back to this site.

Can we get back to the "liberal question?"

You're determined... By liberal I mean that I hold nothing back when it comes to believing in Jesus. I find that liberal and conservative labels stink. For instance a conservative usually means that one is against abortion (which i am) but for the death penalty (which i am most definitely not.) I believe in the Word of God and there's no way that anyone could convince me that the Bible teaches the Death Penalty. I believe in personal responsibility but I also think we have to feed people. I find it interesting that people who fight so vehemently for life (which I do as well) many times don't really care that kids in third world countries are dying of aids or getting their legs blown off by land mines that superpowers manufacture and refuse to sign treaties that make them illegal to produce. (Yes. The US refuses to sign the agreement.)

You sound a little like you are on the fence and maybe even a democrat.

No. I'm not even close to being that. I just happen to have a very narrow world view that says we are to feed people, make peace, defend the helpless from tyrants, and be the Body of Christ.
